去る4月18日から21日まで、マカオにて開催されたPATA年次総会において、PATA日本支部の石槫信孝会長が、最高の名誉とも言えるPATAライフメンバーシップを受賞しました！PATA本部の会長職、理事メンバーを含め、永年にわたるPATAへの貢献が世界的に評価された結果だと思います。 おめでとう、ございました。！
Mr. Nobutaka Ishikure, Chairman of PATA Japan Chapter was awarded the 2009 PATA Life Membership during the PATA Annual Meeting held in Macau. At the Foundation Charity Gala Dinner on the night of Sunday April 19th, in front of your PATA friends, colleagues and dignitaries, he was formally recognized for his long-standing support and significant contributions extended to PATA over the past decade. Congratulations!
Congratulations to our PATA Japan Chapter Chairman Ishikure-san for being selected as a PATA Life Member! PATA defines Life Membership as “PATA Life Membership is the Association’s highest honour, conferred upon an individual who has devoted at least 15 years of exceptional voluntary service to PATA and to the tourism industry.” Ishikure-san has indeed met and surpassed these qualifications, providing the entire PATA family with unwavering leadership, insight and guidance through good times and bad. 石槫さん、終身名誉会員の受賞、誠におめでとうございます。この受賞に至るまで石槫さんが色々とご苦労された経緯があったのでしょうが、そのご苦労を露とも見せず、PATAの業務を淡々とこなされる姿は、ある意味感動的であります。
組織効率化が優先され、スタッフがどんどん削減されていく会社ではややもすると外部の仕事は二番煎じとなりがちですが、自分の立ち位置を考え、PATA日本支部、ひいては日本という国がアジア太平洋地区でどうあるべきかを、常に考え行動されている石槫さんは正に我々の良いお手本です。
小生も微力ながら石槫さんの活動のお手伝いが出来ればと思います。これからもよろしくご指導ください。
